In fulfillment of Elizade University’s promise that practicals would be taken seriously, year two students of Engineering have begun the six weeks mandatory Student Work Experience Programme (SWEP).

The programme, which is aimed at promoting the technical skills among engineering students started on Monday, July 20, 2015 and ended on Friday, August 28, 2015.

It was promotion of culture, demonstration of cultural values and exhibition of cultural uniqueness when Students of Elizade University, Ilara-Mokin, Ondo State held the maiden edition of their week.

In the event that featured cultural dance competition, inter-ethnic cooking competition and showcasing of traditional setting, the entire University Community was entertained as students let viewers into their unique culture.

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) is set to partner Elizade University, Ilara-Mokin, Ondo State on road safety education for staff and students, orientation for University drivers and issuance of genuine driving license for members of the university community.

Senate President, David Mark has submitted that breakthrough in Nigeria’s education can only be achieved if well-meaning Nigerians can join hands with the Government to provide education of modern quality that would equip the younger generation for the challenges ahead.

Senator Mark who expressed the opinion during his visit to Elizade University, Ilara-Mokin, Ondo State, emphasized that Government should not be left alone with the responsibility of regaining the lost glory of Nigeria’s education.

The newly admitted students of Elizade University, Ilara-Mokin, Ondo State have been advised to face their studies squarely and shun any act that could jeopardize their ambition of acquiring quality education. They were also urged to imbibe the University’s core value of diligence, honesty, integrity and responsibility.

The Founder of the University, Chief Michael Ade.Ojo gave the advice while addressing the students at a session organized for him to formally meet them. He urged the students to adhere strictly to the rules and regulations guiding their studentship in the University, warning that the Institution would not condone indiscipline from any student.

In an attempt to achieve his aim of ensuring that students of Elizade University, Ilara-Mokin, Ondo State, pass out with excellent ability and skill in at least one sport, the Founder of the University, Chief Michael Ade.Ojo has promised to provide sports kits for the students to wear during their sports break and other training sessions. 

Chief Ade Ojo made the promise while addressing a gathering of spectators during the final of Michael Ade Ojo Open Tennis Championship, an annual Tennis competition, organized in his honour, held at the Sports Complex of the University.

The Office of the Registrar is pleased to announce the Founder's Scholarship. The Founder, Chief Michael Ade.Ojo, OON shall be awarding NGN 100,000 to the first 250 Pioneer Students of Elizade University.
