The newly admitted students of Elizade University, Ilara-Mokin, Ondo State have been advised to face their studies squarely and shun any act that could jeopardize their ambition of acquiring quality education. They were also urged to imbibe the University’s core value of diligence, honesty, integrity and responsibility.
The Founder of the University, Chief Michael Ade.Ojo gave the advice while addressing the students at a session organized for him to formally meet them. He urged the students to adhere strictly to the rules and regulations guiding their studentship in the University, warning that the Institution would not condone indiscipline from any student.

He charged the students to be the agents of change that the Country needs at this time of her existence.
On time management, the Founder admonished the students to apportion their time based on the significance of whatever they want to do. He said the bulk of their time should be given to their studies, while also considering time for prayer, independent thinking and play. Chief Ade.Ojo reminded the students of the need to arrive classes on time as latecomers would be denied entrance into lecture halls, asserting that there would be no African time in Elizade University.
The Founder appealed to the students to display acceptable moral that would make them useful to the society. He advised them to do away with anti-social vices that could ruin the names of their family. The Business icon reminded the students that award of degrees in the University would be based on excellence in character and learning. Chief Ade.Ojo added that the University was ready to produce graduates that would be morally upright and self-reliant.
Speaking on cleanliness, Chief Ade.Ojo charged the students to keep the Campus clean. The Founder who informed that Elizade University was one of the cleanest universities in the Country, urged them to use the waste bins that were strategically placed on the Campus. He enjoined them to pick plastic bottles and papers they see littering the Campus and report any student found in the act.
According to him, students should feel free to approach members of staff for any issue that has to do with their academics and personal lives. He noted that staff have been asked to play parental role for the students. Chief Ade.Ojo also encouraged the students to visit their mentors regularly for academic advice.
He promised his continued support to the University.
