High School Students Exhibit Talents in Classical Musical, Drama Show

It was a demonstration of talent and display of team play as students of Deeper Life High School entertained members  of Elizade University community during the school’s 2015 edition of Learning Outside the Classroom (LOtC), held in the University recently.

 

Students from Osogbo Campus of the school demonstrated their tremendous skills on musical instruments as they used violin and saxophone to render spiritual songs to the amusement of the audience.

The programme which featured rendition of songs by Ado-Ekiti, Akure, Ibadan, Abeokuta, Lagos and Abuja campuses marked the end of the week-long programme that brought students from South-West and Abuja campuses of the school.

In his words, the Director of Curriculum of the school, Mr. Alfred Ogunlusi appreciated the hospitality shown them by members of staff of the University, describing them as “human beings”. He commended the authority of the University for allowing the secondary school students to use the facilities despite their magnificence.

The Director sought the permission of the University for Future use of the Campus for the annual programme.

Highlights of the programmes were drama presentation by drama groups across the campuses, quiz, presentation of prizes and presentation of Elizade University’s souvenir by the Registrar of the University, Mr. Omololu Adegbenro, among others.
