Welcome to The Vice Chancellor's Office

ELIZADE University is barely six (6) years old as an operating Institution of higher learning. At the mid-term review of the rapid progress made, the University had a total of twenty-five (25) fully accredited programmes in five (5) faculties namely, Basic and Applied Sciences, Engineering, Humanities, Social and Management Sciences, and Law, reflecting a phenomenal growth from thirteen (13) programmes in faculties of Basic and Applied Sciences, Humanities and Management Sciences in 2012. It is also envisaged that Basic Medical Sciences and Postgraduate Programmes will be added soon, following the National Universities Commission (NUC) guidelines. In a bid to attain its goals of being a tertiary institution of the highest standard, Elizade University has consistently towed the path of infrastructural and human capacity development. Presently, the University has a total of sixty-six (66) teaching staff and ninety-six (96) non-teaching staff while the student population grew from sixty-four (64) across thirteen programmes in 2012 to about one thousand and three hundred (1,300) in the 2018/2019 academic year. In addition, the University has entered into a series of collaboration with various institutions within and outside the country. Similarly, Elizade University has a growing partnership with renowned professional bodies in order to enhance the knowledge and practice base of the students. Within its short existence, the University has recorded exemplary student and faculty achievements in terms of attracting grants and winning awards. This feat has been made possible by the vision of excellence endowed the University by its Founder, who is the major pillar in the funding of the institution. I am, therefore, privileged to be the head of this institution, which is on the drive for innovation and excellence.
