About Elizade University Postgraduate School

The National Universities Commission (NUC) has granted Elizade University, Ilara-Mokin, Ondo State approval to commence postgraduate programmes. This followed the successful Resource Verification visit of the Commission to the University.

Elizade University, a Private University situated in Ilara-Mokin, Ondo State was licensed on 28th February, 2012 by the National Universities Commission (NUC). The University offers programmes in the Sciences, Engineering, Law and education in the Arts (Languages, Performing Arts and Music) as well as in Management Sciences. The University emphasises research, teaching/development and community service.

Since inception, the institution has been providing the needed skills, for the empowerment, upliftment and emancipation of Nigerians and non-Nigerians in general.

Admission Requirements

Postgraduate Diploma (PGD)

Minimum Duration: 2 Semesters

Minimum of 3rd Class Degree from Elizade University or any approved university
Five O'Level credit passes including English Language and Mathematics

Master's Degree

Duration: 3-6 Semesters

Minimum of Second Class Lower Division Honours Degree
From Elizade University or any approved institution
Five O'Level credit passes including English Language and Mathematics

Master of Philosophy (M.Phil)

Full-Time: 2-3 Semesters | Part-Time: 3-4 Semesters

Candidate who has taken a master's programme but did not make a PhD grade
Five O'Level credit passes including English Language and Mathematics

Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)

Full-Time: 6-8 Semesters | Part-Time: 8-10 Semesters

Master's Degree with research dissertation
Minimum weighted coursework average of 60% or CGPA of 3.5/5.0
Five O'Level credit passes including English Language and Mathematics

Important: All candidates must satisfy the O'Level requirements for Matriculation into first degree programmes of Elizade University, i.e. Five Credit passes at not more than two sittings including English Language and Mathematics (where required).
