Engr. Ajayi J.A. is currently pursuing a PhD degree in Civil Engineering (Structure and Material Engineering Option) at the Federal University of Technology Akure, Ondo State. He has a Master Degree (MENG) in Civil Engineering from Landmark University Omuaran, Kwara state. He is a corporate member of many reputable associations such as Nigerian Society of Engineers (MNSE-51818), International Association of Engineers (MIAENG) among others. He is also a registered Engineer with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN). He has been practicing civil engineering for more than ten years in both the academic and construction industries. In 2017, he began working for Elizade University. He has published numerous articles in renowned journals both locally and in the field of Civil Engineering and has a great desire for contributing to knowledge through high-quality research in the constantly evolving field of Structural Engineering. Among other things, his research interests include structural engineering, high performance concrete, pozzolanic concrete, fiber-reinforced concrete, microbial concrete, rigid pavement design, modelling the behaviour of structures under loading, and structural health monitoring of bridges.
