About

Professor Kayode Francis Akingbade is a distinguished scholar in Communication and Control Engineering with extensive experience in academia, research, and professional practice. He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) and has built a career spanning over two decades in teaching and research. Currently, he is on sabbatical at Elizade University and serves as the Head of Department for Information and Communication Engineering Department.

His research focuses on telecommunication engineering, control systems, and signal processing, with significant contributions to wireless communication, biomedical signal transmission, and automation systems. Prof. Akingbade has supervised multiple postgraduate theses, guiding students in cutting-edge topics like satellite communication, adaptive control systems, and AI-driven automation.

An active member of professional bodies, he is a registered engineer with COREN, a Member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (MNSE), IEEE, and the International Association of Engineers (IAENG). He has also served as an external examiner and assessor for various universities and polytechnics.

His teaching portfolio includes undergraduate and postgraduate courses in control engineering, antenna design, and optimal control systems, alongside active involvement in engineering curriculum development.
