His research interest spans the evolution of sperm competition and sperm morphology. These aspects he currently pioneers within tropical Africa with notable scientific contribution through journal publications. His research also extend to DNA barcoding, ecological and biodiversity genomics, reproductive behavior, avian malaria, antipredatory behaviour and vocalization of birds and environmental biomonitoring using birds as indicator species.
