Dr. Titilayo Omotayo, Akinwumi obtained her B.Sc degree in Mathematics from the University of Ado-Ekiti (Now Ekiti State University) in the year 2005. She earned her Master's degree (M.Sc.) in Mathematics at the University of Ibadan in the year 2010 and her Ph.D. degree in Mathematics at the University of Ibadan in 2018.
She began lecturing at the Wesley University of Science and Technology Ondo in January 2012 and later joined the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Elizade University in November 2012.
Dr. Akinwumi has published in reputable international and local journals. She is a member of Nigeria Women in Mathematics (NWM), Nigeria Mathematical Society (NMS), and African Women in Mathematics (AWM). She is also the financial secretary of the Organization for Women in Science for the Developing Countries (OWSD), Elizade University Chapter. Dr. Titilayo Akinwumi is married with children.
