The Department of Information and Communication Engineering (ICE), Elizade University hosted a Career Talk programme themed “Building a Career in Information and Communication Engineering and Its Benefits.” The event which held on November 11, 2024, at the university’s Performing and Fine Arts Theatre, was specially organized for senior secondary school students of The Apostolic High School in Ilara-Mokin. This initiative forms part of the Department’s ongoing community service efforts, aimed at creating awareness about the relevance and opportunities within Information and Communication Engineering. It was an engaging session that provided practical insights, real-world applications, and academic pathways to help the students make informed decisions about their future, as well as scholarship opportunities at Elizade University for exceptional students. The Department is proud to contribute to the university’s broader mission of community engagement and capacity building. We look forward to seeing some of these bright students join us at Elizade University in the coming years as they take their first steps toward becoming future innovators and technology leaders.
